A healthy snack made for everyday adventures. This pumpkin seed recipe is a great "on the go" snack packed with nutritional values. Everyone will enjoy this snack, even the kiddos!
Enjoy this recipe as is or sweeten up your recipe with a substitute of maple syrup and brown sugar
2-3 Cups of pumpkin seeds (shelled or de shelled)
1-2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 Tablespoon Pepper
1/2 Tablespoon Thyme
1/2 Tablespoon Salt
Pre Heat the oven to 325
Dump seeds into a mixing bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to the seeds (Mix and coat) Step 3
Add thyme, pepper, and salt and mix to coat seeds evenly
Spread out evenly onto a baking sheet. Place in the top rack of the over and roast for about 12-15 minutes (check after 10 minutes to make sure they are not burning)
Finally, take the seeds out of the oven and cool them on a napkin for 5 mins
Seal up in a bag and ENJOY!
