Zigs Zesty Dip

Enjoy a powerful protein punch while out on the trail, around the campfire, or back at home with your friends and family. With beans, peppers, avocados, and more; this dip is guaranteed to spice up any adventure!
Recipe: (Serves 5-6 People)

1 Can of Corn (Drained

1 Can of Black Beans (Drained)

1 Diced Tomato
-
1/2 Onion Diced
-
Bundle (4-5) of Green Onions Diced

1 Avocado Diced
-
4 Sweet Peppers Diced
-
1/4 Cup Jalapeños Diced (optional)
-
Ground Cumin
-
1 Lime
-
ZESTY Italian Dressing
-
Pepper (for seasoning)
-
Cilantro (for seasoning)
*Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Add cumin,cilantro, pepper, and lime to personal liking. Finish with ZESTY Italian Dressing. ENJOY!!

Savory Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Tasty, nutritional, and easy to make; our roasted pumpkin seed recipe is a MUST HAVE on any trip. This recipe works the same with both shelled or de shelled seeds
Pumpkin seeds contain healthy levels of heart healthy nutrients & antioxidants
Recipe: Serves 2-3 people

2-3 Cups of pumpkin seeds (shelled or de shelled)

1-2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1/2 Tablespoon Pepper

1/2 Tablespoon Thyme

1/2 Tablespoon Salt
Pre Heat the oven to 325. Dump seeds into a mixing bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to the seeds. Mix and coat seeds. Add thyme, pepper, and salt and mix to coat seeds evenly. Spread out evenly onto a baking sheet. Place in the top rack of the over and roast for about 12-15 minutes (check after 10 minutes to make sure they are not burning). Finally, take the seeds out of the oven and cool them on a napkin for 5 mins. Seal up in a bag and ENJOY!
Try mixing up this recipe and replace the olive oil with maple syrup and replace the savory seasonings with sugar and cinnamon for a warm winter snack!
